All the routes were rewalked, with brand new maps, just a few months prior to publication of this new 3rd edition. We also feature a plan of Rhodes Town and a very large-scale plan of Rhodes Old Town, information on Rhodian wines, markets and regional produce for those who are self-catering - as well as free downloadable GPS tracks. Almost all of the restaurants the authors praised in the first edition of their book are still thriving despite the lack of tourists during the pandemic - testament to their popularity among the local people. When to go: The best months for walking in Rhodes are mid-April to mid-June and September/October. The summer is far too hot for walking.
