French Organic Linen Lavender Sachets (Set of 2) | Zero Waste

Fragrant organic lavender sachets/bags.  Hand made using dead stock organic linen, making these little bags a zero waste and sustainable choice.  The sachets are filled with dried, organic lavender grown in our garden (in Skåne, Sweden) mixed with French, Provençal lavender and a little bit of rice.  Although rice might not be the most obvious addition to a lavender sachet, it is one of the best ways to prolong the flower's dried scent. Uncooked, dry rice will absorb the lavender scent and boost the fragrance and it will also absorb any humidity.  

The bags are available in dusty pink and soft ivory/black stripes and they measure approximately 10 x 14 cm.  They come in a set of two bags.

These are ideal as a freshener for drawers or closets, where they also keep moths and the like away.  Lavender is soothing and calming, which can be helpful for a good night's sleep.  They can also be placed in a gym or sports bag to keep it smelling sweet!  Additionally, they make a perfect, small gift if you're visiting friends or as a little thank you gift for many occasions.

The thing about linen in general is it only gets better over time; the more you use and wash it, the softer and more comfortable it gets to use.  Plus, it needs far less water to cultivate than for instance cotton, and it is also an entirely renewable, biodegradable resource.
